The Dreispitz Hotel and Restaurant – a long-standing Hofheim family tradition The story behind the Dreispitz Restaurant and Hotel starts in the last century when Wilhelm Kyritz, the great-grandfather of the current owner Frank Laur, ran a cider press operation and managed the highly successful "Wilhelmshöhe", one of the oldest cider-drinking spots in Hofheim. After his death, his son Werner Kyritz took over the inn with his wife Erna.
In 1981, Erna Kyritz teamed up with Konrad and Hannelore Laur to open the Dreispitz Hotel Restaurant. After her death, the hotel and restaurant passed to Frank Laur on 3 January 2005 and he is now the fourth generation to head this family-run establishment.
